So Ive been spending a lot of time recently not working in my core competency.... Normally I stick to PI and Java but Ive been doing a hell of a lot of ABAP, Webmethods integration, SAP Smart forms recently...

Hopefully Ill get some work back in a space Im more comfortable with.

Life Moves On

Back to single life, not really sure what that means these days...... One thing is for sure, I have no idea how to be single !...

Life is not really exciting me at the moment, we shall see what happens ...

Kara Cleared. !!!!!!!

Well I have done what I set out to do initially in WoW. I am a pally tank, who has tanked kara completely. I now have 14k Hp completely unbuffed, armour is around 16k and I tank heroics and kara now with multiple mobs belting me. !!!! RRRRROOOOAAARRRRR ....

Ive got a little more gearing to do, then Im sure I can hit 15K Hp unbuffed, but im still working...
my toon's name is Macadin, here is an armory for anyone wanting to tank with a pally, I think my gear is about as good as it gets pre tier 5, I have passed on the Tier 4 helm a few times now as it is not as good as my tanka's. So all I ahve left to replace is my chest and back and Im all EPIC'S, once that happens I might spend some badges and replace my Tier 4 gloves with something with a little more punch... !!!

Well whats been happening in my world

Its been a while since Ive posted so I thought I'd update.....

I'm still completely addicted to WoW .... I have lvl'ed a paladin to 70 and am now main tanking end game content with him. I am pretty much main tank for the guild I have joined now, so its going well.

I've had a promotion of sorts at work since last I posted I am now known as a SAP Netweaver Dev., which means I spend a lot time playing with XSLT currently. Sending data all over the company, and Im also the lead technical on all Java/JSP development..... which is gr8t except for the fact Im so busy with the XI(exchange infrastructure) that I havent actually had any time to crack open the java stuff and start playing .... but hopefully things will settle down eventually.

Mike, Scott I think you 2 are the other people liable to read this ..... so I know youll understand.

Other than that because of a change in politics at the UNI, Im not teaching this semester and whilst it was gr8t to have some extra money, writing all those lectures and marking assingments and generally keeping up to speed was inpacting on WoW time to much so Im not sad that Im not doing it anymore. In saying that .... Im going to continue to keep my J2ME skills current as you never know when they might come in handy.

So where have I been and what have I been doing ?

Well it has been a while since my last post, I shall try and cover the last few months in the shortest post possible. World Of Warcraft ....... that should cover it ...

No .....No ...... I have been doing other things but geeez what an addictive game....

I have finished UNI for this semester now .... had my last meeting about student results last night.

Im trying to get a new job again ..... but Im not trying to hard ...... maybe now I have more free time Ill give it another go ...

Lectured for the first time completely on my Own ...... It all worked quite well. I was only teaching the basics of J2ME GUI development. After lecturing for an hour or so I took the students into the LAB to actually put some of this stuff into practice and suprisingly enough I think I might have actually imparted some wisdom on them.

Well here I am in BlogSpot now .... after moving from ISP to ISP to ISP to ISP .... Im now here so I dont have to move anymore ... I liked the freedom of being able to modify my own code in blog and change things ... but Im sick to death of lossing my info cause I change ISP ..
